Who We Are

Mālama Mānoa is a community-focused organization committed to the preservation, protection, and enhancement of the historic and unique qualities of Mānoa Valley. Our mission is to build a strong community, honor and celebrate the diverse cultural heritage, and protect the historical and environmental treasures of Mānoa Valley. Though our membership primarily consists of Mānoa residents, we welcome anyone! Membership is free and open to all who align with our mission.

Starting with just 37 people at our inaugural meeting, we have grown to a community of over 4,300 strong, all united by a shared love for Mānoa and a commitment to its preservation and future. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are committed to nurturing a vibrant, engaged community and ensuring that Mānoa Valley remains a special place for everyone.
